JinJin was born with the birth name Park Jin-woo on March 15th, 1996, in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He has an older brother. This 174 cm tall and 63 kg weighing boy has a warm personality that matches someone who has the blood type A and the zodiac sign Pisces. On February 23rd, 2016, this boy made his debut with boy group ASTRO under Fantagio Entertainment. In ASTRO he goes by the stage name JinJin which stands for ‘Angelic Smile’ because he smiles often and his smile is so sweet. JinJin is doing his activities in ASTRO with his group-mates including MJ, Cha Eun-woo, Moonbin, Rocky, and Sanha. JinJin’s position in the band is leader, main rapper, and lead dancer. She shared her experience from an ASTRO fan signing event where Jinjin was asked about a nickname he would like for himself which would be used by his fans in 2019, to which he answered ‘Ddanggeul Jinjin’ which means ‘soft Jinjin.’ Anyone might think that it’s a nickname given to someone by his girlfriend while fans thought the name was just so cute. Translation: “Close. When I asked a nickname for this year, he wrote one without hesitation. Anyone would have thought that it was a girlfriend’s cat name. He was just thinking fans would think that it’s just a cute name, saying the name suited him well and fans would like it. So, let’s refrain from wearing couple’s shoes during schedules.” Later someone then found the alleged girlfriend’s Instagram account who posted a photo of her cat. Then that ‘someone’ asked her about her cat’s name randomly. It’s written in the comment column she said, “Is it Ddonggeul?” to which it was replied from the account owner with, “It’s Ddanggeul.” Translation: “I asked Jinwoo (Jinjin’s real name) if he wants a nickname to be called this year, then he wrote down ‘Ddaenggeul Jinjin (soft Jinjin).’ Jinwoo has a sharp personality but seeing him say this himself is adorable. Ddaenggeul Jinwoo, this year too, Fighting!” After that, many fans assumed that the issue was true and they tried to pry into the couple’s accessories and clothes that allegedly prove the idol is indeed dating. They found many stuff that looks like couple’s stuff such as a couple’s bracelet and couple’s shoes.
