The Handsome Manager of BTS: Sejin
Sejin is the main manager of BTS since 2014; one year after BTS officially debuted. We don’t know whether “Sejin” is his real name or not, but as far as we know, he’s known as a handsome manager of the group. He’s a father figure and a “master manager” to the members because he really looks like a father and he’s the BTS’ longest-serving manager. Because he served BTS the longest, he’s very close with all the members. He’s often photographed by fans because he always accompanies and protects the members, and perhaps, he really likes being photographed. Sometimes, Sejin accompanies the members when the members have personal schedules, such as going to concerts or watching games. For this reason, ARMYs (BTS’ fans) really love Sejin almost as much as they love the members, because of his dedication to caring for and accompanying the members. Recently, BTS members felt sad because Sejin could no longer serve them. Sejin has accepted a higher position in the company Big Hit Music, namely the Vice Chairman of Big Hit’s art department. Since his departure, ARMYs feel that there’ll be no manager who can replace Sejin’s father figure.
The Narcissistic and Photogenic Manager of BTS: Hobeom
The second manager of BTS is Song Ho-beom, a narcissistic, and the most slang BTS manager. He has also served BTS for a long time, but not as long as Sejin. His narcissistic side is clearly shown when he always tries to show off, especially when BTS wins awards. Hobeom’s hobbies are taking pictures with BTS trophies, taking selfies and aesthetic photos, and sharing them on his Twitter account. Hobeom is known as a kind-hearted manager. An ARMY noticed that Hobeom once protected a reporter from an accident. Back then, the reporter took photos of the members while walking backward. The reporter didn’t know that there was a chair behind him, and right at that moment, Hobeom suddenly pulled his hand and protected him from the clash.
The Caring Manager of BTS: Jigaemae
Apart from Sejin and Hobeom, there’s also another manager named Jigaemae. This is not his real name though, and we actually don’t know what his real name is. Jigaemae mostly sticks to Jimin and rarely sticks to other members. This is why, ARMYs named him “Jigaemae”, which stands for Jimin’s personal manager in Korean (지민의 개인 매니저, read: Jimin-ui gaein maenijeo). Many people thought that Jigaemae is a personal manager hired by the company only for Jimin. However, in BTS, there is no such personal manager. Jigaemae only likes to take care of Jimin, and among all the members, he is the closest to Jimin. ARMYs also noticed that Jigaemae has a big height difference from Sejin. The BTS’ Manager who Likes to Sing: Hyunsoo
Perhaps, this manager’s original dream was to become a singer, not a manager. However, it seems that his original dream needs to be changed, as he has to be in charge of all BTS members. This manager is called Hyunsoo, and again, we don’t really know if that name is his real one. Hyunsoo’s responsibilities are similar to the other managers. Apart from doing his duties, Hyunsoo also likes to improve his singing ability. His voice is very good, and you can see his performance at the 2019 KBS National Idol Singing Contest. In that contest, he performed a song with members Jimin and Jungkook.
The Mysterious Manager of BTS: Sanghyun
Of all the managers that have been mentioned, Sanghyun is the manager that the least people know about. Like the other managers, Sanghyun is close to the members.
