BTS Members’ Vacation Time
Big Hit Entertainment, BTS’s management company, announced that BTS planning some holiday time. As we know, BTS has been going non-stop for most of the past year, with multiple tours running from Aug. 2018 to April 2019, and then from May 2019 to July 2019. Therefore, it was logical that they got some break time, which is their first-ever break since the group debuted in 2013. In the letter that Big Hit Entertainment shared on their official social media, it was saying, “This period will be an opportunity for the members of BTS … to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators,” the letter reads. “This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly.” The letter suggests that each member of the band would spend their time off in different ways, and it makes one request of fans: just let them be. “Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off.” BTS fans, known as ARMY, are numerous, fanatic, and they really love BTS. This fandom love is a pure one, they give respect respect to BTS members and their privacy. It is so rarely compared to other fan bases. The letter didn’t say explicitly when the band would return, but the next show on Big Hit’s official schedule was the October 11 performance in Saudi Arabia.
BTS Jimin’s Vacation Video and Photo Leak
While BTS was on vacation, many fans expressed their concerns that Jimin was being stalked, since some video was leaked that showed Jimin was in France. Fans became anxious about Jimin being followed while he vacationed in Paris. Although Big Hit Entertainment asked fans to give the members of BTS privacy while they vacationed, photos and videos of Jimin in Paris were leaked online. The photos and videos of Jimin strolling around Paris spread throughout Twitter. There are also videos of Jimin in a club and pub, which were also released. Furthemore, Jimin also vacationed in Russia with friends, and a group of fans found him on the street and ran to him for autographs. Photos of Jimin walking through the streets with friends, eating, and waiting in the airport were also leaked online.

On September 17, Jungkook was involved in dating rumors with tattoo artist Lee Mijoo. Jungkook visited the place in Geojae-do where tattoo artist Lee Mijoo and other workers were staying. Footage from this day shows Jungkook giving like a warm back hug to the tattoo artist. It was leaked online, causing fans to question whether the two were dating. Big Hit Entertainment’s Response
Big Hit Entertainment has reportedly taken legal action and sued the party responsible for leaking CCTV footage of Jungkook that was taken during his personal vacation time. According to a report by YTN, the agency is suing the source of the leaked footage, with charges of violation of the Personal Information Protection Act. The tattoo artist also had a response to rumors that Jungkook has her initials tattooed on his hand. She said, “I would like to once again state that it’s absolutely not true that I’m dating Jungkook or that I tattooed my initials on him. We’re simply close friends, and I am very apologetic as it seems fans were extremely hurt in addition to myself and people around me. I will not say anything further. I’d just like to make it clear that I wasn’t ignoring or disregarding everything.” Also after the happenings in Paris, BTS fans asked people to follow Big Hit Entertainment’s announcement and give Jimin privacy while he was in vacation.
