Eunseo’s Pre-Debut
Before she made her dream come true, Eunseo was just an ordinary girl from Incheon. She was born and raised there. However, at a very young age, she moved to Seoul and became a trainee in 2011. She started to be a trainee of Pledis Entertainment. After around two years, Eunseo left the company and joined a company that later on made her a member of a girl group. The girl who was born on May 27, 1998, became a trainee for three years under Starship Entertainment. Before officially debuting, she appeared in some MVs of other singers and idols. She appeared in MONSTA X‘s music video “Rush” which was released in 2015. As we know, MONSTA X is also a boy group under Starship Entertainment.
After that, Eunseo starred with UNIQ, another boy group under Starship Entertainment, in a song called “Happy New Year” which was released in 2015. Eunseo appeared in the music video along with other trainees that later became her group mates.
She also participated in covering the popular Christmas song by Mariah Carey, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” in December 2015 along with other Starship Entertainment female trainees.
As a trainee, she went to a school that focuses on the performing arts instead of a regular school. Eunseo attended SOPA or School of Performing Arts along with other idols and trainees from various companies.
Eunseo’s Debut in Cosmic Girls
In 2016, hope finally came for her. Eunseo who was a trainee since she was 13 years old in international age or 14 years old in Korean age finally debuted as a member of a girl group called Cosmic Girls or Woojoo Sonyeo, also known as WJSN. Eunseo went with a stage name instead of with her real name, Ju-yeon. She became the sub-vocalist and sub-dancer of Cosmic Girls. Eunseo officially made her debut with Cosmic Girls on February 25, 2016. The title song of her first mini-album was called “MoMoMo” on a mini-album called Would You Like? Let’s see Eunseo’s first music video with Cosmic Girls!

On October 11, 2019, it was reported that Eunseo would be one of the MCs of the beauty program alongside singer and actress Jang Yoon-joo and Red Velvet’s Joy. The first month of Eunseo joining the MC team made her look so innocent and pure as a new MC. But, she overcame it really well with her cuteness. The MC team was discussing some types of pajamas, and Eunseo pulled out her best by showing a good style in rabbit pajamas.
