Sungjae as Han Kang-bae
In the drama Mystic Pop-Up Bar, Yook Sung-jae plays the role of an innocent part-time employee named Han Kang-bae.
Kang-bae’s appearance seems to be very ordinary but he has the peculiar ability to make anyone confess their secrets even with the slightest of his touch. And he is the only human who works at the bar. Although he is the only employee who is still human, Han Kang-bae is brave enough to accompany his hot-tempered boss Wol Joo and co-worker Chief Gwi to the dream world and he becomes tougher in the face of both his boss and the afterlife.
Han Kang-bae realizes that friendliness really matters in business, but he tries to avoid direct touch with the customers as much as possible. It is because each person he touches unconsciously reveals their secrets, such as problems with their children or other problems in their lives.
Sometimes, ignorance is a bliss for him, but Kang-bae will no longer be able to do that as he works under the ill-tempered boss, Wol Joo. His unique ability will be used at the pojangmacha.
