Debut as a Member of MAMAMOO
Prior to the official debut of Mamamoo, the members of the girl group had collaborated with several artists. First, the girls collaborated with Bumkey on the song titled “Don’t Be Happy” which was released on January 8th, 2014. Second, they collaborated with K.Will on the song “Peppermint Chocolate” featuring Wheesung which was released on February 11th, 2014. Third, Mamamoo collaborated with the rap duo Geeks for a song titled “HeeHeeHaHeHo” and it was released on May 30th, 2014.
On June 18th, 2014, Mamamoo made their official debut with their first extended play (EP) Hello and “Mr. Ambiguous” as the lead single. A few months after their official debut, Mamamoo released their second EP Piano Man with the title track of the same title on November 21st, 2014. The title song, “Piano Man,” ranked 41st on the Gaon Digital Chart. According to Gaon’s year-end rankings, Mamamoo ranked 10th highest among girl idol groups for digital sales, 19th in album sales, and 11th in overall sales by the end of 2014.

Mamamoo’s Wheein really has an amazing appearance and proportional figure. She stays fit by maintaining an active lifestyle and by exercising whenever she finds the time. She also goes on a diet to maintain her figure.
In one video, Wheein said that she drinks coke zero in her diet. She drinks 2 to 3 cups of coke zero for her diet. She said that when the coke enters the body it burns all the fat in the body.
Dating Rumor
Mamamoo’s Wheein has never been involved in dating rumors. She never opens up about her relationships to the public. On July 5th, 2018, Mamamoo’s members Wheein and Hwasa appeared on tvN’s Life Bar. During the show, the girls talked about their dating experience. Wheein described dating as ping pong and revealed, “I think love is something you should know how to give and receive. I think it’s nice to give love.”
The MCs asked her about how she has never had a one-sided crush, to this she said that is something fascinating that has happened when she was dating. When there was someone that she likes, that person also liked her too. It has always been that way. The MCs told her that she is really lucky and guessed that she may have unknowingly sent out signals to that person. Wheein also revealed that her wish is to date publicly.
