In 2019 JTBC aired new K-Drama The Light in Your Eyes is a South Korea TV Series starring Han Ji – min, Kim Hye-ja, Nam Joo-hyuk Son Ho-jun on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:30 in Korea time slot from February 11 to March 19, 2019. The drama is regarded as one of the best dramas of all time and is critically acclaimed for portraying the hardships everyday people face intimately. The drama is about a 25-year-old woman who suddenly found herself becoming a 70-year-old woman because of a magic watch—Han Ji Min, who plays the younger version of Kim Hye Ja. Watching this drama will make you cry all the time because the dialogues in this drama are creating meaningful. It was touchy so much! Not only that, but this drama is also entertaining with its funny scenes. Imagine if you were a woman who was 25 years ago having to live with family and friends your age with a body like that. Kim Hye Ja is such a millennial grandmother in this drama, and that’s the most exciting part for most people. [SPOILERS] Hye Ja’s mom’s (Lee Jung Eun) salon is falling apart, even as Mom is working hard to support the family, and Dad (Ahn Nae Sang) doesn’t look like he makes much, driving his taxi. And yet, they do whatever they can to support Hye Ja’s dream of becoming a news anchor. That is so earthy and sweet. Hye Ja taking on voice work for porn movies is such a huge wake-up call. It gives her the pleasure of giving money to her parents, but it devastates her on the inside. How poignant, and also, how true to life.
