Love Rain (사랑비) is a drama that tells the story of two lovers, starring Jang Geun-suk and Im Yoon-a. It has 20 episodes in total and started airing on March 26, 2012, ending on May 29, 2012. Love Rain (사랑비) was directed by Yoon Seok-ho and was filmed in two different countries, South Korea and Hokkaido, Japan. Love Rain is the story of Seo In-ha (played by Jang Geun-suk) and Kim Yoon-hee (played by Im Yoon-a) in the 1970s. They were Korean university students living in Daegu, Korea, who were attending the same university. In-ha loved Yoon-hee at first sight. He conveyed his feelings to Yoon-hee and it turned out that she also liked Inha’s love affair. The relationship between Seo In-ha and Yoon-hee had to face its end since Yoon-hee knew her boyfriend had found her lost diary. Yoon-hee thought she could understand every single thing about herself by reading her diary. Although Seo In-ha tried to apologize for his mistakes, but their relationship has come to an end. Finally, Kim Yoon-hee and her grandmother returned to the U.S. to treat the grandmother’s tuberculosis. On the other hand, Seo In-ha had enlisted to the military. One day, Seo In-ha’s son, named Seo-joon, accidentally bumped into Kim Yeon-hee’s daughter, named Jung Ha-na, at the train station in Hokkaido, Japan. Seo-joon is a photographer that was known as a playboy who worked in Hokkaido and Jung Ha-na is a college student living in the city, who will return to her hometown in South Korea.
