Lee Seung-hwan (이승환) is a South Korean singer who debuted in 1989 and is now known as “King of Live Performances.” He got this nickname for his frequent solo concerts in pop ballad and then rock elements music. Lee Seung-hwan has successfully released hit songs that have managed to top some of the charts. Now, he is the founder of Dream Factory, the entertainment agency. His debut song, “Empty Heart,” was released on October 15th, 1989. Then, he touched so many people with the songs “As Much The Love Scattered in this World” and “How Love Is.” He was born on December 13th, 1965, originally from Busan, the second biggest city in South Korea, and attended high school in Seoul. He married actress Chae Rim in 2003, then divorced three years after in 2006. During his career, he got to release 10 singles albums, singles, and EPs that have become number one. The numerous achievements of Lee Seung-hwan include the New Artist’s Gold Disc award in 1991 and doing 1000 solo concerts associated with the Korea pop-culture phenomenon. With his entertainment company, Dream Factory, he got to sell over 10 million records. The most memorable ones when he started became hits after the debut album …B.C 603 on October 15th, 1989. To his contribution, he hosted “Let’s Live a Good Life” (Hangeul: Chakage Salja) which is a fund-raising concert done annually for the Korean Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
