BTS (or 방탄소년단 in Korean) is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed in Seoul in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. With their lyrics that are often focused on personal and social commentaries, touch on the themes of mental health, troubles of school-age youth, loss, the journey towards loving oneself, and individualism, BTS have become so famous even on an international scale. We are not going to talk about BTS in general, but about one of the members specifically, who would be Kim Tae-hyung, or as people know him most commonly – BTS’ V. BTS’ V is known for his husky, wide range and deep voice. Tamar Herman from Billboard said that “with a wide range and a deep tone, V’s expressive vocals are a mainstay to BTS’ sound.” V’s voice is making some new colors for BTS’ vibes. Karen Ruffini of Elite Daily also stated in their article that “V has no problem producing super soothing, low tones that are a key element in the overall sound of BTS.” V himself is a baritone, a type of male singing voice whose vocal range lies between the bass and the tenor voice types. Of course, you guys already know how handsome BTS’ V is. In 2018, Eugene Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. conducted analytical research on Google search trends relating to the K-Pop industry where the results showed that V ranked first on the chart, meaning it was the number one most searched keyword for the past five years in South Korea. The same year, V was in the 1st rank of The Most Handsome Face category in many articles.

Taehyung’s 4D Personality
According to some portal news, the term 4D is Korean slang used to describe someone who has a weird or unique personality. It’s more of a compliment and isn’t an insult. This can also be used for someone who has a strong personality and tends to think outside the box and tends to be creative (usually in a weird sort of way). In some countries, many people believed that a person with AB as their blood-type will have some unique traits inside them. And since his blood type is AB, BTS’ V seems to have a 4D (unique or unusual — it’s a compliment!) personality. He often does random and funny stuff, which makes Big Hit Entertainment staff, ARMY (BTS fans), and other BTS members laugh every time. “I just came up with it but let’s live coolly to the maximum. BTS’ V is the oldest boy in the family. He has one younger sister named Kim Eon-jin and one younger brother named Kim Jeong-gyu. His parents are farmers. His parents really love him so much, but they have been always very busy. So instead, he was raised by his grandmother, for almost half of his life. Through his staying with his grandmother, she became the person closest to him before, until she passed away.

Many rumors said that he and his siblings have had disagreements or are not that close. But of course, that is not true. In BTS’ VLives, V never mentioned having any fights with his siblings, just that they don’t get to see each other or talk much, which can be because of his busy schedule. Taehyung was nearly mobbed while visiting his parents during one of their breaks, and many fans believed that not speaking about them or posting about them is his way of protecting them from the sasaeng.

According to some portal news, there’s no question whatsoever that every member of BTS loves and respects his fellow teammates. They’re like brothers and have shared so many successes together, so it makes sense that they’d all love each other like family. BTS’ V is a highly respected member of the group, even though he’s one of the youngest along with Jimin and Jungkook. Then, as you know, V also loves his teammates so much. RM, the leader of BTS said, “Taehyung is a friend that possesses many things, so he wins favor over everyone. His approach is very friendly and shows that kind of innocent side I greatly admire.” What a cute man.
