OMEGA X’s Jaehan Pre Debut in Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2
Kim Jae-han made his first appearance on a television show back when he was a contestant on Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2 that was aired in 2017. There were so many rivals who were also contestants in the survival show and Kim Jae-han became one of the contestants who came from MMO Entertainment. At that time, Kim Jae-han was undergoing a trainee period of 1 year 2 months and he was only 23 years old. Kim Jae-han managed to maintain his position as a contestant until Episode 5 before finally being eliminated. He was in Group C for the 1st episode and received the 83rd rank. In the next episode, he gained votes and ended up on the 64th rank. In the 3rd episode, Kim Jae-han received 72nd rank before finally dropping to 81st rank and being eliminated. Nevertheless, Kim Jae-han’s struggle during his appearance in Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2 was not in vain because he has proven that he has good talent as a trainee and finally got a chance to debut a few years later!
OMEGA X’s Jaehan’s Debut as a SPECTRUM Member
During their debut activity, SPECTRUM were known as rookies who just debuted in the entertainment industry, so there is more to show in the future. SPECTRUM’s Jaehan shared his feelings after debut, “I want to be comfortable with the fans, and I want to show the fans what we are as we are, rather than showing only what we made. I want to approach you more closely than any other group.” Beside that, he was also known as a contestant in a survival show that was aired on Mnet. SPECTRUM’s Jaehan also shared his experience as a contestant by saying, “Going to Produce 101 was a really good experience. However, there were a lot of things that I couldn’t show on Produce 101 because of the lack of votes.” SPECTRUM was a seven-member boy group under the agency Wynn Entertainment. SPECTRUM released their debut mini-album titled Be Born and debut song titled “Light It Up” on May 9th, 2018. During promotions as a SPECTRUM member, Jaehan took the position as the Main Vocalist.
