The story of “Scientist”

“Scientist” takes the premise about love that is simple and doesn’t need calculations like maths. In love, things like measuring angles and studying the other person are not quite necessary. And applying pushing and pulling isn’t quite their style, especially if the person that’s interested in them is going to give up in the middle, then it’s better for that person to stay away. Rather than analyzing and being stuck in your own head, it’s better for a person to make a move, TWICE said. That’s why they are keen to say that love ain’t a science and don’t need a license in it. The more they sit and think, it would become a minus. Nayeon said that “Scientist” is the song that encourages people to follow their hearts when it comes to love and not something that is to be researched and sought an answer for. “Scientist” is a simple love song written by Shim Eun Ji and composed by Anne Marie, Melanie Fontana, Michel “Lindgren” Schulz, Tommy Brown, Steven Franks, and 72. “Scientist” brings the blend of deep house and dance-pop with 80’s synth beats genre and is produced by Tommy Brown, Steven Franks, and Michel Lindgren Schulz.
