Baeksang Art Awards
The Baeksang Art Awards is an award ceremony that is held annually by IS PLUS Corp, publisher of llgan Sports, since 1965. It’s purpose is to honor outstanding achievements in the entertainment industry and to draw public attention to the best Korean films, television, and theater. As an outstanding actress, Park Shin-hye has won awards at this award ceremony for a number of years.
2011
In 2011, Park Shin-hye attended the award ceremony which is called the 47th Baeksang Art Awards 2011. 2011 marked the 47th of Baeksang Arts Awards held by KBS, to recognize the exellence of a production in film and television. Park Shin-hye was nominated for the category “Most Popular Actress/ Popularity Award, Actress”. At that time, she won that award for her role in the romantic-comedy film, Cyrano Agency in 2010. 2012
A year after that, Park Shin-hye came back to 48th Baeksang Art Awards in 2012, which was held at the Seoul Olympic Park on April 26, 2012. The actress, who played in MBC’s serial drama Heartstrings, got the top place in the category Most Popular Actress for female drama actors. The poll was conducted from March 23 until April 23, and was announced when the event began. Park Shin-hye won over T-ara’s Jiyeon, who came in second place for her acting on KBS2’s Dream High. Park Shin-hye stood on the stage wrapped in a red dress along with three others winning actors and actresses, Yoochun, who won in the same category, but for the male version, and Jang Geun-suk and Kang Sora, who won the Popularity Award Male, and Female for the Film Category.
2013
The 49th Baeksang Art Awards was held on May 9, 2013, which aired on JTBC channel. Park Shin-hye was nominated for awards in two categories, “Most Popular Actress (film),” and “Best Supporting Actress (film).” She won for “Most Popular Actress” for her work in the film Miracle in Cell No 7.” But she was only nominated in “Best Supporting Actress” with Miracle in Cell No. 7, which ended up being won by Jo Eun-ji, who played in Deranged.
2014
The annual ceremony, the 50th Baeksang Art Awards, was held on May 27, 2015, at the Kyunghee University Peace Palace Hall and was attended by famous celebrities. The event was hosted by MC Shin Dong Yup and Kim Ah Joong. On that day, Park Shin-hye had the chance to win again with category “Most Popular Actress” through the serial drama The Heirs, and she was standing with Kim Soo-hyun as the “Most Popular Actor,” with Man From the Stars, and also with Girls Generation’s Kwon Yuri, as “Most Popular Actress” for the film No Breathing.
2015
The 51st Baeksang Art Awards was located at Kyunghee University’s Peace Palace Hall on May 26, 2015, and was aired on JTBC. In the previous years, Park Shin-hye was able to be winner in this awards ceremony for film Miracle in Cell No 7 and television drama, The Heirs. In 2014, she acted in the Saeguk-themed drama, or historical film, in The Royal Tailor. She played the role of a queen in Joseon era. This was the first film that told a story about the clothes and costumes in that era. Apparently, Park Shin-hye’s appearance in the film made her win a trophy from the prestigious 51st Baeksang Art Awards. Amazingly, she managed to win 100% of the votes as the “Most Popular Actress (Movie).” She managed to beat the other nominees, including Bae Doona, Son Ye-jin, and F(x)’s Sulli. In addition, she also took at home the trophy for “Most Popular Hallyu Star/IQiyi Star Award, and she thanked her fans while giving her speech. But, unfortunately, in the drama category, she didn’t win the trophy for “Best Actress” with her serial drama, Pinocchio.

The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival is an International film festival which is held annually every July, in Bucheon, South Korea. At this award ceremony, Park Shin-hye got a chance to bring the trophy back!
Korean Association of Film Critics Awards 2013
The Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, known as the Critics Choice Awards, is an annual award ceremony. It was established in 1980 by Korean Association of Film Critics (KAFC), and this event is usually held every November or December. In 2013, Park Shin-hye won as “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in the movie Miracle in Cell No. 7, where in the film she played as the daughter of an old man that has autism, and her father was jailed for allegedly harassing and killing a child.
APAN Star Awards 2014
The APAN Star Awards are organized by the Korea Entertainment Management Association (CEMA). APAN Star Awards are held annually as part of the Daejong Drama Festival. It evaluated 87 dramas from various cable and main networks that aired between November 1, 2013, and September 2014. In the 2nd APAN Star Awards 2013, Park Shin-hye was nominated in the category “Drama Awards” for Flower Boys Next Door, but she didn’t take home the trophy. Then, after a year, finally she gained her first trophy from the APAN Star Awards in the category “Excellence Award, Actress in Miniseries” because of her acting in The Heirs.
